Attention Rising 6th Graders

Attention Parents / Guardians of BES 5th Graders:  William Campbell Combined School's Counseling Office has sent an email to each 5th grader's school email address and a parent's / guardian's email address (assuming one was on file).  This email has important information on what you need to do to request your student's elective for the 2020 - 2021 school year. It is very important that either the parent / guardian or the student submit this information by Friday, May 22nd.  If you did not receive an email or have other questions, please contact Susan Dalton, School Counseling Director, at sdalton@campbell.k12.va.us.  We are looking forward to meeting our new Generals in the fall!

New School Hours and Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

posted Mar 31, 2020, 2:59 PM by Leigh Francis   [ updated Mar 31, 2020, 3:12 PM ]

Beginning April 1, 2020, our office hours will be 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

If you have questions, please first email your child's teacher, or you can email one of our administrators.

1.  When will students be allowed to get materials from their classrooms?
At this time, we are not allowing students into the building to get their materials.  Senior administration within the school division will be working on a plan for this and you will receive information once the plan is finalized.  If your child left their glasses in their classroom, please contact Mr. Bennett and/or Mrs. Gunter.

2.  When can I pick up my child's medication that was left in the clinic?
Please contact Mr. Bennett or Mrs. Gunter to arrange pick-up of this medication.

3.  How can I turn in my child's library book(s)?
If your child has an BES library book, please hang on to it until we allow you to get your child's materials from their classroom.

4.  What about this year's yearbook?
This year's yearbook has been submitted to the publisher.  We are working on a plan for purchasing/receiving these in the safest manner possible.

5.  How will I be getting spring pictures?
At this time, the company that prints our pictures has put a hold on all printing.  Again, we will be working on a plan to distribute those in the safest manner possible once printing resumes.

We appreciate everyone's patience during this crisis.  This is new territory for everyone.  Please remember that at this time, our first priority is the health and safety of everyone in the BES community.
