Miss Works

This is my second year teaching second grade at Brookneal Elementary! I grew up near Hershey, Pennsylvania and moved to Virginia to attend Liberty University, where I studied Elementary Education with minors in French and psychology. Outside of school, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, reading, watching movies, and traveling to new places. I love working with Brookneal students and am looking forward to this year!

I am entering my 20th year in the classroom!  I’ve taught in several different schools, but none of them are quite as special as BES.  I have been married to my husband, Kyle, for 18 years.  We have two daughters.  During my free time, I enjoy volunteering at my church and spending quality time with my friends and family.
